Our upcoming planned 2003 litters are listed on this page and , like 95% of the Basenjis in the USA, are expected to be born in late November and early December this year. The parents are tested, to the best of our abilities, for the Health Issues that we feel are the most important facing our Breed , including Fanconi and PRA. Our Pet Quality puppies are usually ready to go at eight weeks of age as soon as we decide which puppies we are going to retain. We don't breed to sell puppies, we breed for us to get something that we can proudly show and later breed the next generation of Hacker's Basenjis.
We usually have a nice selection of well bred and excellent quality pets and show prospects that we gladly share with others who want to give them a great home. Once the puppies are born, we try to provide a weekly update of each puppy on the website so that interested parties can watch as they develop. We have found this practice both interesting and educational for all concerned.
Our Pet Quality Puppies are available for $600 and go on a Limited AKC registration. Our Show prospects are available for $800 and are sold on a co-ownership until they finish their AKC Championship. You can see samples of our Sales Contracts elsewhere on this website.
As most of our puppies are spoken for before they are whelped, we strongly suggest a deposit to hold your choice until they are weaned and ready to go. The puppies are offered to prospective new owners in the order in which the deposits are received.

Evie (Hacker-Rwanda's Evening Light) will be bred to CH Hacker's This Bud's for You for a repeat of last year's breeding that produced the stylish and very correct bitch, Hacker's Celestrial Ball of Mariah, owned by Chris and Maria Clecack.

Littl'un (CH Hacker's New Vision) will be bred to our own Fat Bastard. We hope to get a male this time to equal the quality of last year's bitches, Emerald (Clecack), Cherish (Gaymon) and our own Diamond.

Hacker's Florida will be bred to the young Timmy son, Hacker's PT Cruiser. This should produce some Brindles abd red/whites with the clean lines and gorgeous type of both parents.

Zoe (Hacker's Mystique Lady) will be bred to our new young star, CH Hacker's Lime Light. This will be a concentrated line breeding on our Buddy and his mother, Buns.

Finally, we will breed our Hermione (Hacker's Bright Light) to Buddy. This again is a huge concentration on our Buns who is responsible for so many of our Specialty winners.
